Many of us, are becoming curious about what we eat ...
Where does it come from? How is it grown? When was it harvested? How far did it travel, before I touched it? So many questions, so little time, right?
Let's get started ...
There are many misconceptions about what we are buying. False advertisement is a disease that we can all cure, with an inexpensive medicine. That medicine is called knowledge. I am offering it to you, here, now.
As an example of that false sense of security, offered by some "vendors", I had an interesting episode happen to me at the San Luis Obispo farmers market. I heard a very well known business owner advertising the non-usage of sprays on his crops. When I asked him, why he was lying about that fact, the answer was,"How else am I supposed to sell them?" The worst fact, is that this vendor is also allowed to sell GENETICALLY MODIFIED CORN at that same market every week. I remember watching a man walking around with a billboard, trying to let market goers know about that fact. He offered literature about GMO's and the danger to our health. He was concerned, and so were many.
The idea that someone is always watching over our best interest, is not a reality. Ultimately, you are responsible for your choices.
At managing levels at farmers markets, I've had the chance to work with people at both ends of the spectrum. There are the ones, that care, and the ones that don't.
It is our goal to make it easier for you.
I am here to bring awareness to your lifestyle and bliss to your life ....
I look forward to your company on this journey ...
Let's do this! YEAHHH!
